Because the Trimble scanner is non-contact and collects millions of points from each position, we reach geometry that would otherwise take rope access or scaffolding, and a dimension nobody thought to ask for is pulled from the archived cloud rather than from a second lane closure. Where movement is the question, repeat epochs are differenced against the baseline scan.
