Rodeo's downtown grid was platted in the 1890s near the San Pablo Bay shoreline, and its older blocks carry the boundary questions century-old plats always do: monuments buried under generations of pavement, fences set by habit rather than survey, and deed dimensions that don't quite close. As an unincorporated community, Rodeo's permits and street work run through Contra Costa County, and shoreline-margin parcels sit near mapped liquefaction zones that can trigger geotechnical review under the Seismic Hazards Mapping Act for new construction.

We retrace Rodeo boundaries from the original plats and county records in Martinez, scan older cottages for renovation as-builts, and provide topographic surveys for additions and drainage design across the community's flat and gently sloping blocks.
