Davis is the most populous city in Yolo County and sits on the flat floor of the Sacramento Valley. On ground this level, drainage and finished-floor decisions come down to small elevation differences across a whole lot, so topographic surveys for additions, ADUs, and site improvements need tight elevations on control rather than a few spot grades.
